With regards to Brik's comments........... I think a lot depends on a highly evolved civilization's ability to continue evolving without blowing themselves up through conflict. And the universe is so immensely large, if its possible for life to evolve in other parts of the universe then I think that...

Well to be fair to the guy who made these claims, in my opinion its not impossible, although in my opinion I think its highly unlikely. How many people ridiculed Copernicus's claims that the earth is indeed round, and that you cannot sail off the edge of it. There are other examples. But then again,...

What's alarming about the Ukraine is that around 1,300,000 have become infected in less than two weeks. This problem has come out of nowhere there. Not absolutely sure about this but I think I read somewhere that schools there have been closed for 3 weeks. Only the west of the country is affected so...

The Ukraine is getting it really badly, 239 dead as of yesterday, with 26 dead in the 24 hours to yesterday including 3 children, all dying of pneumonia, although only a small percentage dying of confirmed swine flu. Vast majority of people dying are young. Over 1 million have had it, around 65,000 ...

Its a great idea but I think possibly on feasible if flights are infrequent so they can be filled up each time. Not that I think that is a bad thing, I think if the price is competitive, expats at least in this area would plan their trip around the flight times. I think price would be crucial for th...

I dont think the value of the pound has any significant bearing on the market here, the vast majority of sales here arent and werent to British people. And I dont think that the prices can fall significantly further. When its possible to pick up a village house for 5000 Euro, we are soon approaching...
