Hi Chewy, I am going out for a few days next week so unfortunately, I will not be around when you are there. But I am sure we will bump into each other at some time. And Hi Ciara, I will be in Samokov for the new year, as usual staying at the 'Sonata'. The last I heard was that Neil and Bridgets res...

However, I would still like to know if anyone has been able to make a successful claim with any company at all in BG. Regar...

Hi AJ113 I agree that that does seem to be the way it's generally done nowadays here in the UK. but at least here it is easier to establish things like sums assured, qaulity of locks, additional security measures etc. I was just curious as to how anyone had faired in making a claim in Bulgaria. If i...

Hi all I like Rab am very interested to find out if anyone has made a successful claim in BG on any insurance policy via a UK based company, or indeed any Bulgarian based company. I telephoned Lark today to enquire about buildings and contents insurance on a refurbished house. And I was quite supris...

Hi Chewy Unfortunately, I will probably not be able to meet up with you this trip. Due to a slight problem that has cropped up on my Kostenets project, I am having to dash over this weekend and not later in the month as I originally planned. I will be there until the 22nd, staying at the 'Sonata'. I...

Hi Chewy Welcome from me also. Although, as I said, there are in fact several contributors to this forum, who are already acquainted with David, I don't know how he would feel about me giving his details out to others. And as I hope to do business with him in the near future, I don't want to upset h...

Hi all Just returned from my monthly visit to BG. And as some of you already know, I have 3 properties in the Samokov area, so I have quite a vested interest in whether the 'Super' thing goes ahead, or not. And, I have my own oppinions on the subject, but I will keep them to myself as these rather c...

Hi Juloubeth

Thanks for that. I looked in both Praktica and Mr Bricolage in Sofia, but they didn't have any. Maybe just the wrong time of the year, I hope that they will have more stock in the Autumn, which appears to be the best time to plant anyway.

Regards

Hi Steve

Thanks for the info. I think that Plovdiv may also be a little too far. Do you happen to know of a garden centre going towards Dupnitza?

Regards

Hi Ciara If you are referring to water filled underfloor heating. Then the actual heating element is the same regardless of the floor construction. Solid floors no problem. Basically, insulation laid on sub floor, then vapour barrier, then heating pipe with screed laid straight on top, then floor fi...
