I have to say from the pictures this place looks fantastic.

You often see places prefixed with "Eco" when driving around I believe there is a place at Emen outside Veliko Tarnovo that is an "Eco" resort though I have yet to visit it.

Or maybe cryopreservation is the answer to the excessive funeral fees.

What can SID tell us about that process Banjo or has SID already subjected himself to the process?

There is a church and a mosque in our village, both well kept but I never seen anyone attend either. The Mayor's bar opposite the church seems to have more customers than both the church and mosque together, so I am presuming (maybe incorrectly) that beer is more important than religion in this part...

Only worth buying if they begin to employ some members of staff that act as if they are interested in helping their customers rather than playing on their own mobile phones while the queues just get longer and longer in their stores! A comment by someone who was an extremely frustrated customer, tha...

Bumped into an Estate Agent who showed us some properties when we where initially looking at moving to Bulgaria, during a chat over a coffee he said he was being contacted by Brit Ex-Pats regarding selling their properties but sales to Brit Ex-Pats had fallen,he stated that many of his associates we...

We had a 36 hour power outage last winter, hence the UPS system this year we are still considering obtaining a generator to run the basics in the event of another long power cut but still not convinced it will be cost effective, may just be a luxury that will never be used.

Re: Logging of forests

Which route should we go for heating. No silly or sarcastic answers please just a good debate. We use a combination, we have plasma heaters on the walls which we tend to use to just to take the chill off when the nights get cooler then revert to our log burner when winter really bites. The log burn...

Logging of Forests

Whilst out walking today we came to a hilltop that gave us a cracking view of the surrounding area. We noticed many areas where the trees had been logged leaving barren spaces, some seemed to have been re planted with pine trees others left I presume to re seed themselves. Is there actually any re p...

I have never used Penny Market (there is not one close to us) so personally I will not miss them but I have always been of the opinion it is better to have a good variety of places to shop and any competition between the stores can only be a good thing. We tend to check the catalogues for Kaufland, ...

Any predictions for the World Cup Rugby Final?

Close game or a walk over for the Australians/Kiwi's?

A good referee has been appointed so at least the game should flow.
