The restrictions on Bulgarians working under a labor contract will expire 5 years, or in case of serious disturbance of the labor market can be extended additional 2 years. So 1st of January 2014 is the absolute deadline unless the EU falls apart or the UK leaves the EU.

Some people own businesses that are not doing bad. My grandpa (RIP) started a business in 1991 that slowly grew to 35 employees and 300 000 levs profit a year. He drove an old Toyota, but if he wanted to he could afford quite a few new cars.

I just feel bad for the kids, they were dragged into that by their irresponsible parents. Maybe if they flew them back to their countries within weeks rather than months would be a better solutions for the kids
