what many of the Russians do is only register the property in one name..then the other gets away scot-free, we like to do it legally though, only argument i have is the fact they rent out, but dont like paying service charges as `theyre only there for 2 weeks a year` bl**dy hell its only 100 lev a y...

i usually drive uk - bg, and return every year, and the only documents are registration document for proof of ownership, never been asked for mot or other documents apart from a passport.

maybe you are looking for a driver to drive it over for you..not on a trailer but a hard drive..it wont be cheap, as you will have to pay for the tolls, fuel etc, not forgetting a return flight and a couple of hotels..i would think in the region of £700 all in, so long as the car is all above board ...

Makes me feel so different..My wife and I pay 100 lev per year for service charges..the builders used to run the system but gave our block a status to do it our self..Luckily our next door neighbour now runs the system..he is also a maintenance manager for various hotels in sunny beach, so obviously...

Hi Banjo, long time replying..you have probably done it by now..lol..anyway, you need to find out where the immigration office is in Varna..then report there with your documents, unless you speak bulgarian take a translator..but it is a simple process..except for the language..thank god my wife is b...

ask for a green card from your insurer..saves paying a fortune in serbia,,i never use that country but prefer the drive across romania and into bg. your probably there by now though.

I dont get the bit mememe said about DVLA stating you cannot drive a foreign registered vehicle in the uk on a uk licence..I did just that when i worked for a BG company and drove a 44 tonner across europe..i am a long term resident of BG but always drove on my uk licence..maybe its because the comp...

Its nice to read these points of view, or facts..since we bought our apartment in Pomorie, and seeing as we are joint owners, we have been paying the same amount each...and each has a seperate account i think the payments are around 84 lv and that is times two....not 84 divided by two. might have to...
