Just as a follow-up to this, I am pleased to say that Polly from Pride-BG has now successfully had all the proceeds transferred back to my UK account with no hitches at all.

Thanks so much for everything, hope you and Grigori will come to visit us here again soon!!

If I wasn't really so sad about having to sell the house, I think there probably would have been :-)

Selling through Pride-BG

Hi all, Some of you older timers might remember me as one of the managers at Pride-BG. Well, when the recession hit at the same time as some unexpected family issues back in the UK, unfortunately I didn't have much choice but to head home, handing everything over to Dean and our fantastic team (part...

Last say re: Gazza... I apologise to the Moderator for ignoring the warning but feel it is only fair to assure that no contract terms were broken; we honoured all agreements and provided well over three months notice to terminate. However, I freely admit that I became rude in communications with thi...

This is Richard, an ex co-director of Pride. I’m afraid I have had to write an essay to respond to this, although I have recently left the company and the firm now has one sole manager. (All Pride’s current clients recently received a comprehensive email which outlined in full the reasons for this, ...

Hi, Once a foreigner has sold their property, they are left with a useless company which then costs quite a lot of money to properly close. Furthermore, if the amount received for the property exceeds 50,000 leva then legally the company has 10 days to register itself for DDC/VAT (although this does...

Find out if you can get a new maintenance company before kicking out your current one... hardly anyone is interested in offering these services at this time due to problems collecting money from owners and a bad company is probably better than none at all. FYI Independent contracts are permitted to ...

I should have updated anyone interested in this thread to say that we have more of less got to the bottom of it. The developers (BigPaul's story being testament to their demeanor) apparrently didn't pay their architect, who subsequently didn't submit various plans and changes in the city hall. Someh...

I'd love to help, but you haven't said what is written on the PoA, so how can anyone comment as to what problems there could be here? A PoA can say anything from "I give person X the right to drive my car" to "I designate this person to sell my house, drain my bank accounts, etc". The person who has...

I have a mystery to solve with a client's septic tank. Last year there was a problem with the tank filling up inexplicably which at the time was put down to a fault with the toilet tank running constantly, which was fixed. The tank was emptied just before we winterised the house, so the water has be...
