Hi endeavour777 this is odd, I have just had a look at flights at that time and they are still selling flights for the preceding and following Saturdays. Are you sure that it's a cancellation and you have not been bumped because it is over subscribed, either way it's a liberty and so are the prices....

Ah Christmas It's a time when you get time off work, time to spend with friends and family, a small gift or five if you are lucky and a time to indulge in the very best food, wine and a little something special in a brandy snifter. The shortest days are behind us and we look forward to the spring an...

Hi Marymo I grow it in the UK and in Bulgaria my neighbors planted it for me. I don't know the Bulgarian name for it. If you print a picture of it from the net and show it to a neighbor they will tell you what it's called there. You could just get picture and look at the seed packs in your local sho...

Pollypepper

Trachycarpus fortunei is the hardiest of Palms, it will survive temps of -15 for a short while. Bigger plants stand more chance of survival. Any general plant food will do but only feed it in the spring and summer.

MW, if you just want cover for the summer months then morning glory is a good choice. Grows like a mad thing in BG and produces abundant big bright flowers. The two best varieties are Heavenly blue ( strong pale blue ) or Grandpa Otts ( deep purple ). Start them indoors from seed, subsequent years t...

Hi Carl You may well find that you got too close to some sort of illegal activity. The only time we have ever had a problem walking around our area is when we came across people fishing with nets at Durankulak. They did not approach us but I got the impression they would have if we had not left as s...

Hi Rocker It's not so strange, a lot of plants have this sort of life cycle, Yuccas do the same thing. They produce a stem that can take a few years to reach flowering size then they flower and begin to die. In the meantime new shoots appear around the base. The mother plant does not just suddenly c...

Hi again

Forgot to mention, the mother plant will begin to die after it has flowered. So pot up your new plants and discard the mother plant.

Cheers Fred.

Rocker

Has the plant flowered?

If not then leave it, if it has then just wait for the pups to get a bit bigger, take the whole thing out of the pot, shake off the compost and then pull the pups off the mother plant and pot them up. try to pull them off with roots attached.

Cheers Fred.
