Re: Long stay permit.

Does anybody know the format for dying in Bulgaria.? I know, that there are photographs on telegraph poles etc. I missed a funeral in Varna a few years ago, but apparently the coffin was open. Next day they were in the bank arguing about his will. Off subject MOD?? You cannot get a better long stay ...

Re: Street Lighting - Lack Of

My neighbours are Russian,( surrounded).
They have motion sensors all around the place.
They even leave all the lights on, when nobody lives there (except the Roma security guard and his tribe)

Re: BREXIT POST HERE FOR GENERAL DISCUSSION / DEBATE

On the other hand, if the Remain Voters had had the majority, it would have sent a message to Brussels and Berlin, to "carry on regardless". The Repeal Act will provide thousands of "nit pickers and bean counters" to have a field day. So you see it's not really a Repeal Act. (Jus...

Re: Long stay permit.

SWMBO and I have our permit to stay for over 3 months in Bulgaria. I would suggest you take an English speaking Bulgarian with you to show you the ropes. I cannot advise about Plovdiv, as our dealings were in Dobrich at the main police station initially. Documents to take : Passport, European Health...

Re: Car reg

From memory, it may be different these days. I had to go to a Notary to sign my car over to my Company.(Strange as it may seem). I also remember going to an Insurance Office to get a Certified Valuation on the car, as there was a payment made to Kat based on the value of the car. The 2 things above ...

Re: WHY did you vote leave ?

I didn't vote, but it was satisfying to see the disbelief on the remoaners faces, especially Dummblebee on Tv. Of course there are issues to be faced, such as who will finance the M25 having a 30 metre high wall built around it, then should taxpayers money be used to finance the Thames Barrage. I sa...

Re: Post Brexit for those of us who have property here and live here?

I spend 6 months of the year in Bulgaria, but most of my assets are in Britain. SWMBO and I are considering trying to sell the property in Bulgaria this year, but only due to "health issues." On reflection, when we first came to Bulgaria, part of the annual ritual, was to register at the l...

Re: BREXIT POST HERE FOR GENERAL DISCUSSION / DEBATE

It's a sad state of affairs, when Cameron went to Brussels asking for little and was given less. There is a problem in Britain with immigration, but most of it is not due to being EU members,so how that is squared up with dealing with "The Commonwealth" in the future remains to be seen. Th...

Re: Which way BG will go in the foreseeable future

To be quite honest, I do not know. On one hand Bulgaria has improved vastly over the last 15 years or so, but that is not due to membership of the EU. On the other hand would Bulgaria have improved without membership of the EU. Of course it would. The disgusting scenes of the Illegsl Nafri Armies in...

Re: Did only THICK people vote LEAVE

There are more Mittlestand companies in Britain than Germany. For our non Germanic friends, that is a company run by families and "middle class", but politically active. SO GET OVER THE bulls**t ABOUT GERMAN PRODUCTS. Always check the box. In the corner of the environmentally green package...
