As an update on my previous posts in this thread and comparing LPG to other sources... We stuck with the pellet boiler, as we found a specialised maintenance engineer who got it all up and running. I also have a very reliable delivery source for the pellets. So for the past 2 winters we have used it...

Brianj42, I just read your story on the post about this couple abandoning their pets and it is sickening to say the least. Disposable pets seem to be the in thing in Bulgaria and many a Brit we have met have said they would not take the pets back to UK if a crisis happened....Yet they are happy to k...

Gushter, Thats a great website and I think I'll order the book as it looks really interesting. When is the ideal time to go hill walking in the Rila peaks, as it is something I hope to achieve...would you say July and August? What are the prices of guided tours there in a group, as I never saw a pri...

Well we support the charity and have no doubts or suspicions over the money raised and we are nobodies fool (believe me we have seen many scams and rip off merchants here over the past 3 years ). Hi

Thanks for all the replies, will check the gas bottle for the label. The only jets we got were the ones already on it, so we will try to get gas jets for it before using again.

Hi Bullador,

Could it be the jets if it has been happening from day 1 with a brand new hob? How do I find out if I am using the right gas I wonder...does anyone else use the blue bottles for their gas hob?

No idea when last serviced and I have hardly used it in past 2 years due to the problems I stated.

What is the correct gas and where do I get it serviced please?

Happy New Year everyone, Not been on here a while as too busy with the kennels, but I do have a question: On the subject of bottled gas, we have a bottle inside the kitchen cupboard next to the cooker for 2 rings on the hob (other 2 are halogen). We bought the bottle from someone in BG and think it ...
