Spantrout, if I read the article properly it says that the flight via Budapest should not cost any more money so I would query that. I have been onto the Bulgaria Air website & their flights for next summer are going via Sofia with a 6 hour wait at Sofia outbound from UK and 4 hours the other way......

Sorry if I'm in the wrong place but does anyone in BG know if there is a company that does European Breakdown for a Bulgarian car.
I have done a search but this is the only thread that seems to mention it :D

We were told by Globul last year that we can't have a contract without a 200 leva deposit, because 'you haven't lived here for 5 years'.... the girl in the office was very apologetic having made 2 phone calls to Head Office...so we are still on pay as you go which is a downright pain bearing in mind...

Some of it is going on a brand new road from General Toshevo to Dobrich & then on to Varna....but if it's like all the other roads that have been laid in the 3 years we've been here,it will want doing again next year!!!! :(
