Winter quilt? We've only just put the summer quilt on yesterday after spending the summer with just a sheet and very light throw!!! No fire yet although we have had the gas heater on a couple of evenings recently...I keep a record of temps every year and this time last year it was 31C during the day...

About 35 pounds if I remember rightly...not cheap but would maybe have lasted longer had we been a bit more gentle with it.They are very lightweight,we brought it back in a small suitcase but you could get it sent over :D Just looked on Ebay & they are 25 pounds at the moment,that's for an 18ft pool...

We've used one Tiarnan...it's just like bubble wrap and works really well,especially at the start & end of the season.We bought it off Ebay but the only trouble is it's so flimsy it has now split into tiny pieces. It lasted 2 seasons though

We are emptying ours tomorrow...too cold for us now. Having said that we had it full by the middle of May and,with the water temperature about the same as it is now & the air temp not as warm,our 2 year old grand-daughter loved it. She spent at least half an hour a day in it,we couldn't get her out ...

No strain up here in the North-East of the country...hubby loves working on the land,we have over an acre so that should keep him busy for a few years!! We work together on some projects,apart on others - visit friends,have lunch out,go to the beach,invite the neighbours over for Rakia!!!..very rare...
