Hi Villy, I recently bought a becker sat nav from lidl, £160, it has 37 eu countries on it, though only used in uk up to now it's pretty good for the price, i think it will take you through the austria hungary romania route no problem, very good value in my opinion.

Well said thewheeton and oldtimer!! I think Bulgaria does represent a good investment in the rural areas, Perhaps not overnight as a few think, But in the longer term it's probably better than a uk pension or endowment, as for borrowing money to do it i would say only play with money you can afford ...

Hi Ga, 22,480 lev??? thats over 8,000 gbp, far too excessive in my opinion, but hey, it's your money, I'd get a few more quotes, but then as stated on another forum it's not that hard to do yourself if you are able, cheers.

Electricity disconnection/reconnection

Hi all, I am renovating a house in General Toshevo area and need to get the electric removed from the building, I believe they put the meter in a box on the pole and i then connect the house to it, is this correct? Does anyone know who and where i go to get this done? I went to an electric works/off...

Hi there Opow, I would check with any car hire firm that it is ok to take it out of the country of registration as i hired a car in bg and was told it is not insured outside bg. regsrds Tony.
