Well, true to form the topic has slewed somewhat; one just never knows where a post will lead. As it happens, being ill in bed, I have time to follow these meanderings, but I suspect that many are put off wading through individuals' disconnected experiences and reminiscences.

Thanks; BTW just because the company owns the property it doesn't have to have anything to do with the income and running costs: they can be a private matter for you, in which case you declare them in your UK tax return as income earned from furnished lettings abroad.

Anyone know why BDZ is showing that trains from Provadija to Sofia all go first to Povelianovo (i.e. in the wrong direction!)
This applies to any dates and times I have searched on.

At the risk of being corrected by a more knowledgeable members, why wouldn't it be possible? Indigenous and foreign individuals own properties in Bulgaria; those people who had to set up a limited company to legally own the property now have the choice of closing the company and re-registering owner...
