CURRY RESTAURANT VARNA

Postby michaelo » Fri Jul 20, 2007 11:00 am

Hi all,
wanted to let you all know that a curry restaurant has just opened in VINITSA.

V1 CURRY LOUNGE
40 ST.KONSTANTINE & HELENA STR.
VINITSA 9022
VARNA
00359 52344030

A guy called sid from manchester owns the restaurant, which has a lovely and modern interior.
The food was great, although slighty small portions, they have everything: onion bhaji, samosa, nan bread, real popadoms,ckicken/lamb korma, madrass, balti, vindaloo. everything you expect in a curry house.

its about 25lv p/head inc drinks. for four of us,beer and all came to 96lv.
we had a great night so enjoy.

25lv for a small curry seems a bit much to me

I also visited this resturant this week ...enjoyed my meal ,mainly because it is 4 yrs plus since ive eaten Indian....Sid has worked very hard the last 6months trying to get this off the ground and i hope for his sake it works....but...by Bulgarian standards it is expensive in my opinion...main courses ranging from 8 - 11 lv....stareters 3 -5 lv ...pilau rice 6lv...poppadoms 1lv each...and they are english size curry house portions.....but even so i shall visit now and again for a treat

i would'nt say it is anywhere near uk prices, 3 beers, popadoms, garlic nan,a onion bargi and samosa,a tikka mussala and egg rice, but yes its a bit expensive for bulgaria. being that it was my first curry for a long time i was more than happy to pay.

hi.all

had a great nite , and chatted to sid the owner, i agree, try finding a popadom let alone a top curry in Bulgaria. Forget the price issue, still very cheap.
£8 including drinks.
Bargain.
Top service an all.

Although we had an announced closure date from the 13th Aug to the 25th Aug 2007, this was unduly extended due to the passing away of our head Chef`s Mother. Now from the 1stAug 2007 to 25thAug 2007

Please accept our apology for this situation.

It has been a Mammoth task since the building of this project, and hopefully we have already experienced our worst!!

We appreciate all your feed back as it will help us further better our service.

Thanks for your perseverance.
