Dear All

We are holding a carol singalong in the Municipal Library of Veliko Tarnovo on Monday 19th December from 2 - 4 pm approximately. We will be singing all your favourite carols (hopefully) and sending you a songsheet after 9th December for you to download and print a copy for yourselves. If you have any special favourites we will do our best to fit them into the programme but the titles must be submitted before 9th December to be included at vtcarols@gmail.com

The library is situated on your right as you drive from the Yantra Hotel towards Tsaravets Fortress and there is parking just outside (if you are lucky) or you can turn right and park in the old prison car park (not recommended unless you have a 4WD) or the main Tsaravets car park

We are eager to have as many British and Bulgarian people coming together as possible for this Christmas gathering and hope to see you there - in good voice

Best Christmas wishes

Inge

If anyone has an amusing or sentimental story or poem connected with Christmas, which they would like to recite between songs we would love to include you in the programme. Let us know ASAP to be sure of your slot in the programme

We will also be taking a collection for Priatelli charity.

Shame we can't be there -dont arrive in VT till 23rd. However (as previously posted on here) we have booked a table at the Hadji on Samavodska Charisha for 1.30. It is a beautiful place and they are doing Christmas lunch for us for 30lev a head. Have to book tho. The more the merrier for a great Christmas atmosphere!

It has taken me 3 years to find a venue in which to start a choir in Veliko Tarnovo, but at last I have found one, and we have started at last.

All you need is enthusiam - and the rest will develop from there.

We meet every Tuesday at 1 pm at Jambalaya - on the top floor above CBA and Technomarket. It is near McDonalds and there is also a cafe in Jambalaya which serves the most delicious toasties. If you come early enough, you can join the 'Toastie Club'!

An added advantage of this site is that there is plenty of parking - a rarity in VT

And best of all the venue and the parking is free!!

So any of you songbirds who want to come along, we hope to see you on Tuesday

I forgot to add that if there any musicians out there who want to take part, please come along as well
