Hey Up

Postby Shep » Tue Jul 14, 2009 5:10 am

Hi Missbeans

Great post,I love it,especially the last bit lol. Can you pop down to Bistrets and give the Mrs some pointers. I have to agree that "royal canin" is probably one of the better expensive foods, some are overpriced and overhyped. As former owner of two pet shops I DO know what I'm talking about. Their customer service is also second to none. Sadly far too expensive for a poor Yorkshire lad like me, but ours get well fed and are very loved and cared for. Nice post though. I'll let lorraine (mrs shep) read it later lol.

Hello All

I believe that what Missbean is doing is fantastic.
Trying to save all your lot money, but you all seem to think it is to expensive.
I always believed that English people were animal Lovers, may be I am mistaken.
I have 3 cats at give them Royal Canin, it might be a bit expensive, but if you have an animal you should take good care of it or not have an animal at all.
Do you also economise on your pints??

Regards
Mathew

Will have to cut the cat down.
It will have to have bread at the neighbors.
We don't have a restaurant in our village.

Yes we do.
Buy 20 bottles at a time and get discount from our local shop.
Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves.
And when in Bulgaria do as the Bulgarian's do.
The cat food we have is a well balanced one.
We don't eat in the Savoy Grill and neither do our animals.

But seriously we all need to choose, if you think the food is better for your animals and you can afford it, THEN THANKS Missbean for selling it cheaper.

All the measurements on this thread up to now have been metric, I do not know of anywhere in Bulgaria that sells pints.

I welcome anybodys efforts to import stuff and sell it at cost I have no cat but I have not been able to get any wild bird feed anywhere if anyone has contacts let me know.

cheaper pet food

Postby missbeans » Wed Jul 15, 2009 5:02 am

some of your posts would suggest that those writing them have thoughts/brains that have come from the same place as some of my rescued animals. the gutter. perhaps those of you residing in this sad state should start a new thread under "vulgarity".

my original post was intended to reach those who may, in these difficult times, be happy for a discount if their pets are already ON royal canin. I was in no way critisizing anybody elses choice for their animals, but having read the content of some of these posts, would certainly question the animals choice of an owner, but I guess the little darlings don't know any better!
