Scottish notes

Iv just returned from Scotland with about 3000 in Scottish notes, silly me i just looked at the wad and seen the English ones, anybody out there returning to Scotland or any were uk side? I cant change them here in Bulgaria so if anyone can give me leva for them it would be appreciated.

i have good news and bad news for you

the good news is you can change scottish note in Nessebar (i was surprised to find that out)

the bad news is they get about 20% less than english notes

You can change them at exchange offices in vt too for a lower rate than english ones. Just not in banks.

Try all the money booths, mights find one to accept small batches. Might take a few days, but sure find least one booth.

Anyone offering less 20% for what is the same money as English notes wants be given a long pass.
