Good Lord, that's extraordinary, Mastylo, if I download that and it works I'll never have to type a full stop to get the letter "л" or a comma to get a "р" as I have to with the stock Microsoft BG language setup.

For anybody who's totally baffled about this, it is NOT a way of typing Bulgarian phonetically (it's a pretty phonetic language anyway) it seems to be a way of typing Cyrillic characters whereby the keys are mapped (if possible) to phonetically equivalent Latin characters of the QWERTY keyboard.

In other words if you could put stickers on the keyboard it would read the BG equivalent of "QWERTY". Only because there is no W in BG it is it more like "SHIRTY". They went for physical rather than phonetic similarity with the "ш"

It will be easier.

GanGan and Billpaula.

If you hold the left 'Alt' key down on your keyboard and then press the left shift key at the same time, it should switch your keyboard to BG. Repeating the process should revert it to EN. The language bar should be visable, a small EN or BG on the taskbar to tell you which language you are in. Whilst this is showing BG anything you type should be Cyrillic.

Thanks
BigMike

You can usually switch between the languages pressing Alt+Shift or Ctrl+Shift. A simple mouse click on the language icon in the task bar works as well. After that you can post messages in Bulgarian, if MOD allows

Yes, the default combination is Shift+Alt, but I`ve changed mine to Ctrl+Shift, because it`s easier.

You just have to click on language bar, display it on the taskbar.
:smt024 I have 3 languages on it, it's easier than to press Alt+Shift or Ctrl+Shift.
