Although I'm not a great fan of Bill Gates, Lucky555, your partner can get an on-screen BG mouse clickable keyboard simply by setting up BG in the language bar and then going to all programs - accessibility and setting up the on-screen keyboard. This gives the proper BG cyrillic letters, though the key lay out is not the phonetically mapped one that mastylo has been talking about.

For a novice to produce cyrillic this is the easiest way, absolute no brainer. You don't even have to be able to type in English!

Tip: before you start cursing that it does not work, remember that you must have an application open that will receive keyboard input.

Ahhhh, but, the next level....

Anyone know of any free fonts other than Arial that contain the necessary character set, please? (that can be used with the taskbar/on-screen keyboard option)

Well, so far I have found (apart from the Arials)
Book Antiqua
Bookman Old Style
on my system but it is slow process.
I gave up then (going in alphabetical order)
and jumped around and found
Garamond

Stewarty, there's a cyrillic keyboard you can download that is based on the same layout as your 'normal' one - hence no need for stickers as only a couple of the letters are different and you soon learn where those are.

You can switch between latin and cyrillic with the press of one key.

I have seven spare sets of cyrillic stickers for keyboard which I bought in Varna, feel free to email me and can arrange for a small fee of say £2.50 including postage.

I am using a laptop that i bought at Metro in Varna!

The first set of cyrilic letters are what i see in order from qwerty etc on my keypad!
The second set is what comes out when typed in qwerty order!

ыуеишщксдэц
ьяажгтнвмч
юйъэфхпрлб

чшертъуиопящ
асдфгхйкл;'
зжцвбнм,./

Its very confusing!
