Hi All,

www.tvcatchup.com

This site has has the programs from the uks favorite terrestrial channels .

The reason i like it is because you don't have to download any virus loaded software you just click & watch like you tube or the bbc site but unlike the bbc site you should be able to use it anywhere you have a broadband connection.

let me know what you think

Regards,

Mark 8)

just a quick question - I am watching emmerdale and just wondering if I am doin something wrong or is it all the same - there are a few words spoken and then it sort of freezes and then resumes for a few words then freezes and so on - its ok I can get the jist of it all but just thought I would ask!

Yeh I get that too Luci, bit annoying but if its something I really want to watch and this is the only way, I think I can put up with it.

Think its your connection speed or if your using wireless internet not the phone lines it sometimes sends the data or receives the data in bursts.

Hi Luci,

I would think it would be down to your connection speed & the demand on the server at the time. It should not be your computer unless its old ! try it again when the broadband is less busy ! I sometimes get a similar effect on a old (win 2000) pc that is connected to the internet via usb but on my xp laptop connected via wireless works very well . You could also shutdown any other applications that may be running on the computer. I think you need a broadband speed of at least 1/2 meg but it might be 1 meg. Good luck, i hope you can get it to run smoothly because its very good when it works !

Regards,
