Mobile phone unlock required

Will it or won't it work in Bulgaria? Which is the best option?

A local, small mobile phone/electrics shop should also be able to help or at least send you to someone who can.

Cheers, but are you saying that a 'Restriction Code' actually means the mobile is LOCKED?

Cheers again.

phone unlock

Postby truckyboy » Tue Oct 18, 2011 3:23 pm

My wife had 2 phones unlocked this summer, and costs were very small, in one day..collected the next..but that was in pomorie, i`m sure there are many other aresa that do it, just pop into your nearest phone shop and they will either do it, or re-direct you..

There is a place in Yambol -hard to explain where. Let me know if you are not sorted yet and I will give the directions a go!!

Cost was under 20 Leva - was done by the following day.

I brought a cheapo T-mobile back last year and took it into a small place on Bogoridi, Bourgas. Only cost 7 leva and took enough time for one beer

We used these people about four years ago....

It cost £15 (for our phone) so it may be cheaper to try here in BG.

Thanks for all the replies.

I know where the place is in Yambol tucked away in the pedestrian zone?

Liliana, can you give me directions to the Burgas/Bourgas place as I go there more often that Jambol?

Yes, it's locked. In your case it must be locked to 'Orange' if the Orange sim was working.
