Turkish things im trying to buy - without going to Turkey !!

Postby AngloBulgarian » Fri Jul 08, 2011 8:14 pm

Two things im after that can be bought everywhere in Turkey and i carnt seem to find in BG - any help most appreciated!

1) Lemon (citron) Alcohol - used to cool down and keep the mozzies off.

2) Caramelized chilli flakes - at least i think that's what they are, there on every table in turkey, slightly sweat and sticky chilli flakes - not the dry ones i keep getting here.

Have you tried your friendly apteka for citronella?
Our local chemist in Spain did.( no help here, just a comment!)

insect repellant

Postby Dreanas » Sat Jul 09, 2011 12:48 pm

Avon Skin so Soft is a really effective insect repellent and comes in spray bottles. It is also good for the skin :D

I always carry one in me when I am out as well as keeping it in the house.

hope this helps

STOP!!!!

Let's NOT discuss mozzie and insect repellents here - we have other threads for this. This topic is ONLY for helping to source what the O/P is asking for - nothing else! If you can't help him directly with his enquiry please don't post!

Not just specifically you, Dreanas, but all that have taken this off topic so far and anyone else who is thinking about it...
