HELP! desperate for contact details

Hi All

My wife applied for her c type on 12 July and we have had no contact from the embassy since. 3 emails and a constantly engaged enquiry line.

I recently saw, but now cannot find, a post containing a personal email address of some one in the consular section.

Can anybody point me to it please.

We are due to fly out next wednesday and just want her passport back if nothing else.

The number you have is a waste of time I tried for 2 hours today as it is only available 1 'til 3. I eventually got it ringing at 1:50 only to be answered by a machine saying the memory was full. Tried reception they just give the same number.

Phoned UK passport office they cannot give us an appointment for a replacement passport until the 8th, then 5 day wait for processing and we go on the 9th

Hope Lillie can come up trumps or I am going on holiday with my 12 year old daughter and her friend. So not going to be much of a break for me then

Well they say things come in three's, we got burgled early hours Saturday morning, no passport, do you think I should fly

Which part of Oldham do you live in Rico? I'm near Middleton.

I applied for c visa on 24th July. My lawyer had an email the next day asking for my old passport details as I had renewed passport recently. I faxed these on. they rang to say too dark. I emailed them. They phoned back to say could not have c visa now as would run out in September as I had been for 19 days already since 1st March - didn't understand this part at all but agreed to start visa on 1st September and now waiting for it back hopefully.

Hi Pheonix, cant you go down to the consulate and try to sort things out, or if that fails pay extra for the one day passport. My husbands ran out two days before we were to fly out and they let us go down and wait for one. I know it cost quite a bit more but it was worth it. Hope you get this sorted and enjoy your holiday.

Thanks for trying rgawith I have all the usual details available off the website. This is the address I am getting no reply from after 3 emails.

Bullador thanks to you also. I live near manchester so travelling to London on the off chance we would be seen is a little too much. Surely they must respond to emails and at least if I phone they should be able to put me through to someone who can help. UK passport say I can only apply for a NEW passport on the one day service not a replacement.

May be poor old Lillie was getting overwhelmed, so her address has been changed.

Any one got any other ideas
