BTV - Bon Appetite featuring Gary's restaurant in Klimentovo

Postby Sagitarius » Fri Nov 30, 2007 7:41 am

The cast and crew of BTV's Bon Appetit, cookery programme were at Gary's all day Wednesday. Gary invited a few friends and we all had a great day. Although there is a big Bulgarian clientele, they wanted to feature some traditional British food. Gary cooked one dish with Ivan 'the chef' and a friend of his, Rainy who was a chef in uk for over 20 years cooked a couple of others. Gary and Rainy did really well despite nerves and Pavel did a brilliant job translating.

Ivan and his crew were very friendly and they made it very interesting. They were really impressed with the restaurant and pool and they want to return to do a programme on the carvery and maybe other events.

They said it would be aired on 18th and 20th December. BTV - Бон Апети, its normally on every morning at 9.30.

Try guessing what was chosen as a very ‘British’ dish
