Inflation

Postby Malarkey » Mon Feb 15, 2016 5:12 am

I just read a report that forecasts Bulgaria's 2016 April inflation rate as 8.02% %
and the UK forecasts for March 2016 as 0.25%

I have no idea if these figures are correct but it would be quite an increase for Bulgaria which I thought had low inflation or even low level deflation.

I don't claim to understand the whole sphere of economics but it's just a prediction, which can equally be countered by another prediction. I guess the rate is for the year TO April anyway, not just the month.

But indeed, to my inexperienced eye, that's what they seem say here:-

But on the other hand, UniCredit Bulbank seemed to disagree, albeit in March 2015:-

Guesses all of 'em, educated or not..... I think I'll just carry on checking how much spare change I've got left at the end of each month....

S.I.D Says that there seems to be a mistake in your info the inflation rate in BG is 0.2 percent or might be a little less.
