Do you know if you pay at a pay and display type machine or is it metered parking? Coming over to Bulgaria at end of July and normally in Dobrich 2 or 3 times a week. Parking was free last time we were there.

The parking charges introduced earlier this year have been dropped. I understand it was proclaimed as illegal by the courts. Therefore there are no parking charges for road parking, however they are now planning to try and introduce a ‘Blue Zone’ at some time or other. I live 500m from the centre so will keep an eye out for any further changes.
Bye the way you will be surprised by the refurbishment of the centre, all has been re-concreted and about 3 quarters tiled… looking very nice… perhaps why they trying raise money with parking charges.

I just drove around Dobrich on my scooter... the Blue Zone car park had loads of empty space and found lots of free parking spaces within 500m. As soon as I have time I will put the best places to park on our Beta Google map
