I think Resen is a nice village, we looked at some property in the area, but decided we wanted to be nearer the mountains!

We were told at the time that some english/irish/scotish people had bought in the village.

Bluebellfarm a member of the forum, has bought in Resen..seems to know a great deal about it, and loves it. This will possibly give you more information.

Also, if you press onto your area within the Property Owner Search on the information site to the left of this page, you may well find more people in the area.

we live just as you go in to resen "Resen Lodge Guest house" feel free to pop in any time, we live here all year with our two girls 3 & 4 year olds.

Sundays its a open house, messing around at the pool drinks and food, we get a few Bulgarians and ex pats in.

resen is a fine village you will like it, there is three other couples living here and a few holiday/investment homes.

Thanks for your reply. We are from Manchester and the house we have bought is just off the main square in Resen village. It needs a bit of work doing but we just love the place. We have been there three times this year and plan to go again later on, perhaps we could meet with your friends then.
