You are probably right scot .........but Mrs May and Ms Sturgeon seem to have a plan up their sleeves

Mrs May says nothing will happen until the whole of the UK is in agreement ....which quite obviously Scotland and NI are not.....yet in the same breath says Scotland have no outright veto

I think Scotland will be pivotal in the times ahead, it may well be that Westminster and Scotland just reach a stalemate.....and maybe a 2nd Scottish referendum followed by a second EU referendum for the remaining UK states on the premise that the landscape has changed......who knows

But it would not be fair to require Scotland rejoin the EU, they may even go with Iceland and co.who all seem to be doing OK

As Oscar says try to join the dots.

To all the doom and gloom merchants who said the UK will sink, well as a leave voter and I am not thick we will now get our place back in the world without the stinking corrupt EU telling us how to run our country the corrupt EU needs us more than we need them ask BMW and all companies that trade with us the EU is sinking with the migration problems that they failed to address the people of all EU countries are sick and fed up with Brussels telling them how to run their own affairs and being told how many migrants they have to take.

So let all EU countries have a referendum. 8) 8)

would agree with you on the refugee/migrant crisis banjo, its a catastrophy

but would point out it was Germany who caused it not the EU, and went against the EU rules which are that asylum seekers must apply in the country of arrival, in her wisdom Merkel went against this EU rules and caused the chaos.

Sweden are also now beginning to realise their open door policy may be their destruction.

Our border is protected from non EU people we do not have to let anyone in if we dont want to, Romania have refused to take part as they were refused schengen access

France actually protects our border from refugee migrants

The fact on immigration Banjo is that the UK takes in more non EU immigrants than EU workers...........nothing to do with the EU

The only crisis in the refugee issue is that millions of innocent people who desperately need to find some place safe in the world are being literally thrown back into the ocean because we, as a rich and supposedly Christian group of countries refuse to offer them even temporary shelter. People who go to church, who consider themselves upstanding members of a caring society, would prefer children to die like dogs in the street rather than pay a few dollars to offer them somewhere to stay for a few years. We don't have to offer people residency or a promise to stay, but we absolutely should have thrown open our borders and said that anyone fleeing war can come here and be safe until their homelands are safe again. We started this in the Middle East after all. If we cannot offer help to our fellow man when we have the means to do so, what's the point of any of our wealth and fancy lifestyles? Normal, decent, hardworking people who did nothing wrong have had their lives obliterated in large part due to our actions and we try to do absolutely everything to not help them.

European societies should be utterly ashamed. Germany is the only one who has done anything to help these people.

At least we were a lesson to all countries ever considering giving a referendum to the people on anything slightly technical in future - thick people get a vote too and they're not afraid to use it because they are utterly clueless about the consequences.

They were safe when they got to Turkey, they do not need to get to Calais to be safe.
Sweden is at crisis point because of too much too soon immigration and Germany is overwhelmed

We need to help them at their borders, and in Turkey, we have more than enough wealth collectively to set up safe areas even cities for them even in their own countries.

The Governments in Iraq and Syria control most of their territories

You sir are very pro USA who have created all of this together with the UK and France lapdogs so the high moral ground is misplaced

Watch the UK economy shrink in the years to come. Not a good idea to allow people to vote on something they do not and cannot understand !
