We bought a baby pig in January, it was 3 months old, and about size wise it was about 2 foot long and about 18 inches high. We paid 100 levs for it. We could have got a much smaller baby one for less, but our BG neighbour who is raising our pig for us said that its better to get a bigger one as you can tell that its going to develop well as its already showing signs of growing well. If you buy a baby one you could get a runt, and it may not grow to its full potential. He bought 5 of them at the same time. He is going to raise it for us, and said that we dont have to even pay for food as he has 60 deks of land and grows all his own pig food. So come Christmas when our little piggy is no longer little (hoping he's huge to be honest), we should have a whole load of meat for the freezer for just 100 levs, which we feel is a brilliant offer compared to what you pay for meat at Kauflands.
