First Stork 2011

Postby DANNIA » Mon Feb 21, 2011 4:25 pm

Today we saw the first stork, albeit a black one!
It was soaring over the village of Malik Manistir at lunchtime.

Not a great pic as was high up, but there it is!

Fantastic photo Dannia - never been interested in birds before living in Bulgaria and now find myself getting really excited at the prospect of the storks coming back - thin k I'm going native

We are up in the North East Nikki...your photo is brilliant, well done and, yes, I'm sure they're a little confused now as we've had snow today too, albeit only a small amount :)
I will still be wearing my Martenitza as I haven't seen it since and quite enjoy the excitement of spotting the first one in March.
