Snow in villages at Xmas..?

Usually Xmas Eve till February if your lucky or not so lucky in my case,as i hate it.

Things look a bit dire at Bansko especially as the season started yesterday.

Pamporovo and Borovets "seem" to have a little more but some cameras tell a different story.

The "longest" ski season in Europe of Bansko seems to be shrinking from Dec - Apr to Jan - Mid March (10 weeks).

Well if theres no snow 1km high, then we should be safe a while here in the villages :D

We have rain, but forecasting heavy snow for Thursday, better get mesel organised for any last minute shopping. I can drive in snow its the other silly b**ger that canna!!!

Ah well - will enjoy whatever - have some nice pics to look forward too...

Well we have 25cm of the soft fluffy white stuff and still falling....Luckily we have a good Mayor so the tractor came round this afternoon and due again in the morning.

marymo. Think you will be out of luck with regard to snow over Christmas. The forecast I use for the Burgas area proposes below freezing temperatures but no precipitation after today, Thursday.
