None of my Bulgarian mates are into football so I'll probably be watching it on my own (sniff) . I'm really more interested in the return games in Sofia , next year I believe . Tim .

http://media.dir.bg/tv.php

...shows nothing on the typical channels, apart from 20.00 Футбол, Англия on Ring BG but that may be an English football programme, as opposed to an England match.

Typically, national games are shown on BNT aren't they? It shows a film on at that time, which could of course be superseded by a match.

Edited...
More likely it will be on Nova Sport..
22.00 Футбол. Съндърланд - Манчестър С, мач от английската Висша Лига, повторение
...as I wouldn't have thought they would have a league game on the same night as an international.

You're right B52 there's no way that there would be any Premier League games on during the same week as internationals . FIFA has managed to get a fair degree of global co-ordination for international slots throughout the season , with the exception of the African Cup of Nations , although I think that there are plans to bring that into line as well . Hopefully when the Blattersaurus shifts off they'll wake-up and smell the roses and embrace video technology as well . Is anybody planning on going up to Sofia for next years games ? Bulgaria v. England & Bulgaria v. Wales .Maybe we could co-ordinate something. Tim .

Start of the second half still only 1-0 and Bulgaia (without Berbatov) are playing well . Who knows ? Tim .

England v Bulgaria

Postby DaveyBoy » Fri Sep 03, 2010 10:07 pm

its a cruel game, 4 nil to England! No disgrace in the performance by Bulgaria. They should beat Wales, possibly Montenegro and the Swiss? Need to get Berbetov back for the next games, coax him out of retirement!

cheers

Changed channels after the game and caught the end of Portugal v. Cyprus ; amazingly Cyprus equalised at the end for 4-4 draw . Bulgaria will need to follow their example and start taking their chances (they created plenty) to even beat Wales , let alone Montenegro or switzerland . Tim .
