Its been nigh on 6 years since we stayed in VT but we stayed at this place. The upstairs room overlooking the river and the old town was a pleasure to wake up in. It was cheap then and from their prices it still looks it.

Insist on the room with the balcony overlooking the river

From Firecow

We have a one bedroom, ground floor apartment available for rent, for short or long term let. The apartment is part of a sympathetic restoration of an old town house near the Cathedral (200 metres up from Tsaravetz fort).

Briefly comprises of double bedroom with en suite bathroom, living room, full kitchen and air con. There is a washing machine in the flat. The property has a large terrace (with a fantastic view of the fort and Light Show) and yard, shared with our tenants from the other two apartments in the building.

55 lev per night for the apartment
295 lev per week for the apartment
Long term rates negotiable

E mail : firecow541@yahoo.com
Telephone : 0876611220 and speak to Fiona
PM

We are here almost every day, if you would like to come and have a look first, you are very welcome. Just give us a ring. We can e mail photos too.

Do you want to be in VT itself?
If a village apartment 15km away might suit you either pm me or post on this thread.
Self contained, studio, suitable for 1 or 2 people. All the stuff you'd expect (shower room, kitchen area and secure free parking!)
40 lv/night. Discounts on longer stay.
Really only suitable for animal lovers; they won't come into the apartment but you will meet them in the garden!

The hotel Phoenix, it's a wonderful hostel and a friend regularly stays there, she says it fantastic and in the old town centre of VT, 10euro a night! Google Phoenix Hostel, Veliko Turnovo. Good luck, its a wonderful City, I shall be there in a couple of weeks too.
