As a traditionalist I will wait until Easter Sunday when I shall give the Orthodox Christian Greeting :"Christ is risen. Христос възкресе"

What a pompous old man I am !

Not only a lovely one, but the only correct one! For Orthodox Christians Easter is supposed to be reflection on the death of Christ and not a celebration - therefore you should never say chestit or vesela!

It used to mean to me many years ago, Two days off from work, a damned good Sunday Roast, Chocolate Easter Eggs and TWO football matches, but once back in the 80's I found myself in a Holy place in the Christian sector of Jerusalem where Jesus was supposed to have been lain after the crucifixion on the Friday and then resurrected himself on the Sunday/Monday. :?

The place gives one of those weird experiences where people praying leave some kind of omnipresent feeling of power beyond human comprehension, (even more than a mere MOD).

Can't say I believe or don't believe, but as Dave Allen used to say, 'May your God go with you'.

Happy Easter whatever that may mean to you.
