PLEASE CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A GOOD ECONOMICAL CAR TO BUY IN BG. I HAVE NO IDEA AT WHAT PRICES START OR AT SO ANY HELP APPRECIATED. CARS IN MIND ARE THE PEUGOT 307 SIZE ETC NEW OR UP TO ONE YEAR OLD
The lada site doesn't have an English version but it is not hard to manage. You want to look for buttons saying ЦЕНА as that will get you the price. It is clear what model everything is, so go to another lada site or a lada review site to get the specs. We are looking at the five door Nina at 16900 leva. www.mobile.bg is also a good site to have a play on for second hand cars.
I Was told by three seperate Bulgarians on my trip to buy 6 weeks ago(One was a Taxi Driver)Not to bring my Audi A6 turbo Diesel to Bulgaria under any circumstances as the quality of the diesel is very poor,it appears the poor quality diesel is only for commercial vehicles only and will destroy a quality car engine in 2 to 3 years.I checked with my Audi dealership back home and they agreed!an ordiary diesel they said may survive but a Turbo No!!!!

I think that the general opinion (on observing the forum entries etc) is that its best to buy a car here in Bulgaria. Sorry Lee but I would rather have a second hand VW than a new Lada 2nd hand cars to consider on the link below in Varna
However to further put the cat amongst the pigeons
