With Wizzair, two people in the party, one piece of hold baggage on the outward trip, if the second person brings hold baggage back with them on the return journey, do they have to pay for it both ways?

Yes my understanding is you will have to pay for it either on booking both ways or at the airport on return,if you do the latter it will cost you more.

Or do two separate bookings one outbound one inbound only pay for the luggage you take each way

We're now returning.

We assumed, erroneously it appears, that as you can modify the booking before checking in for the return flight, that you would be able to pay for the extra baggage, for that return flight, at that time but it appears that, when you try and modify the booking, it adds the cost of the baggage to both journeys.

Oh well, that is resolved, it appears that can't do it online you have to telephone the call centre at 77p+ per minute and they will add the extra baggage.

They certainly do (Maybe not to BG).

I have flown Ryanair 6 times last year and never once paid more than £15 a flight. Get on their email list. My last return flight cost £5 each way including taxes. In fact, if you really keep on top of Ryanair and plan ahead I had a flight last year cost 99p including taxes.

They do have a £6 admin charge but this is waived if you pay with MasterCard Prepaid Debit Card (which is free to get).

Please let's remember this is the Wizz Air topic and not a flight comparison / cheap flights discussion.

Thanks. Mod 8)
