It means He has made his point, playing bad cop/good cop...
The Russian involvement caused more movement of refugees into the west, creating extra chaos..
He was asked by the EU to withdraw..
A request coming for the lifting of sanctions?

The warmongers are not in Moscow. Look closer to home and over the pond to spot them.

Indeed, Scot. But so many choose not to see the link.

It means that nobody believes a word he says,as usual,

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/m ... s-withdraw

Russian fighter jets have continued to carry out intense air raids in Syria in support of forces loyal to Bashar al-Assad after Moscow said it had begun withdrawing its forces from the country.

Russia has been doing what the USA was lying about and that was targeting ISIS and disrupting its strong links with its ally which is Turkey who buy oil from ISIS

The USA and the UK had been claiming to have been attacking ISIS but were just playing at it because they want Assad out for some unknown stupid reason....the same as they wanted Gaddaffi out for the same stupid reasons.....in the USA s case they want perpetual war and destabilisation wherever possible in the world......except around their borders

This keeps the arms trade and dollar going

Russia have gone in and given ISIS a good going over and are now withdrawing .......they also do not entertain would be terrirists on their soil, they just wipe them out, no questions asked.......which is what we should do

Thread is nothing to do with the UK or USA,it's about Putin pulling out of Syria...........he isn't,he's still bombing them,in the hope and expectation of destabilising the EU with yet more refugees trying to escape Putins bombs.
Putin doesn't do anything for the good of anything else except for the good of Putin, the destabilising of the EU is good for Putin.

the so called rufugee crisis was well under way before Russia decided to stem ISIS and was created primarily by the USA , France and the UK and aided and abetted by Turkey who fund ISIS

Russia intervened for its own interests I would wholly agree with that point and was stated by its President and FM at the time to curtail the expansion of ISIS and the threat to Russia and its allies.

Why would nt Russia protect their own interests, nothing wrong with that.......the root cause was the creation of ISIS by the UK, France and the USA and their lapdogs around the region.

If there is one thing that Mr Putin’s announcement makes plain, it is that Russia’s claim that it was moving into Syria to combat Islamic State has been exposed as a sham. Not only has Isis been spared most of Russia’s air attacks, but it has arguably benefitted from the setbacks that Russia has inflicted on Syrian rebel forces. Isis has not been crushed. Instead it has been able to move forward, especially round Aleppo. That does not seem to matter to Mr Putin, whose geopolitical goals lie elsewhere. Yet Russia has caused hundreds of extra civilian deaths and may have strengthened Isis. Mr Putin likes to give the impression he knows what he is doing in Syria. But his record there may prove truly dire and destructive.
