What have you described Balchik as being?............why would anybody want to rent there on the basis of your description?........why would it be a nice little earner when it's located in a place that you have described as...........remind us again....... :D

apart from 100 metres along the beach, the rest of balchik is crap.

if you are renting your villa out to a group of golfers, then you are
not living there, are you ?

if you read my original post properly, you will see that i suggested
you move to varna and rent a room when the villa is rented.

when it is not, then just sit, look at the sea view.

that's all anyone has to do.

yes it has the botanic garden and palace there - but once you have been
there once, neither are places people that anyone would want to go
every week.

varna has more choices which is why i suggested just rent the villa out
and stay there

you live in varna oscar.
do you not agree it has more variety to offer anyone than balchik,
all year round ?

You do realise that you are advising people to base their lives and income in a foreign country trying to rent out property in what you have called.........remind us again.
You didn't answer the question I asked you about why wwould anybody take advice from you about anything...........but you have now. :D

By the way, this mantra you keep repeating about taking Bulgaria as far as you can is probably on a par as your description of what Balchik is.........it's simply your giant ego that just imagines it has.

i have been through this before with you oscar but you obviously don't get it

so again, just for you

i have worked in bulgaria and done nothing in bulgaria.

i have now left as at the moment it has nothing to offer me

you only have to look at how many people have left besides me
and how many new people like jackie are arriving.

there is even a thread here now remembering old forum members,
who are all obviously long gone.

they all too have probably taken bulgaria as far as they could oscar,
which is why they left.

and this site numbers - are well down from its hey day.

the evidence is all around you oscar to see

Some people are obsessed with the idea of owning property and being a rentier. (That is someone who does no useful labour and lives off rent,) Flaghostel seems to be one such.

i know i`m getting older..but i am not long gone..i admit i did stay off for a while, but now i`m back.
Anyway,, as scott mentioned, not all of us are intent on buy to let..i bought..i dont rent..i dont trust renters..so enjoy my time in my own property with my wife.. i dont get fed up with places, and i have been to many in my capacity as a long distance trucker..Bulgaria still has the same charm i fell in love with back in the 70`s..although it was then under commie rule. BG has changed for the better..i love it, and always will..but i think that if someone has fallen out of love with it..then move off to pastures new..
Taking my car on the long drive over this year in June, and will stay for around 2/3 months, my wife will join me in July, as she is flying due to work commitments, but she retires this year, so we can not only spend more time together, we can spend more time together in bulgaria.
