i believe you troyan...

but come on.

if you are priced out of buying in manchester - is it better to rent the rest of your
life in manchester

or

buy, 45 mins drive away in burnley and commute in every day ?

i would say live in burnley if you are priced out of manchester.

besides the worst areas in manchester are worse than the worse areas
in burnley for general living ?

what do you think ?

Well I would go back to your statement that if you are flexible there is always a solution.

And it would not be live in Burnley

If I really did not want to rent and wanted to be in or around Manchester I would probably buy a large Barge and live on the waterways. There are some fantastic Marinas around Manchester and even in the city

Otherwise there are plenty of better areas which are not as cheap as Burnley but affordable around Manchester.

yup.

you definately are thinking flexible troyan.

yes, you are right.
there are some great house boat spots in and around manchester.
but like the thames, the river boats all out and towards henley are very expensive
plus
monthly mooring charges.

you can of course keep moving around in your house boat.
i read somewhere recently that if you do not stay in one place for more than
7 days, tehn you do not have to pay mooring charges to anyone, anywhere.

ok if you dont have kids that need to go to a school close by

i think similar in manchester now.
living on a house boat is cool and trendy and will cost a lot.

the cheaper areas in manchester, wont be as cheap as burnley and will have more crime than burnley.
the **** areas of manchester have quite high crime now.
i wouldnt want to live in any of them.

you couldn't leave an aston db6 anywhere unlocked in manchester
except maybe hale barns or altringham lol

o and why we are on the subject of being flexible, just being curious, friday i went into ladbrooks, william hill and coral bookmakers to ask their latest odds
on elvis being found live by 2020.

in june, when leicester won the league, they were all offering 2000-1.

on friday, they all told me last monday 1 august,
all the bookies stopped taking any more bets on elvis due to recent rumours.
this bet has run for the past 39 years !

i wonder.
do they know something we don't ? lol
