Bringing money from BG to uk

Hi guys , back on again after a long absence.
After building a house in BG I have finally sold it ( keeping main residence) .
The question is to other sellers . Which is the best way to bring money home . I know 10,000 euros can be brought home on ur person but can you bring more , if you declare it? AND show paper regarding sale of house.
My other question is ...
Why don’t sellers just do bank transfer to their bank in the Uk ?

Sell Overseas Property

Glad you finally sold your property. You can do a bank transfer but you must declare where the money came from, also you will need to tell the UK tax office as you might have to pay tax on it.
