TERMS OF SERVICE

Chat, Forums, and other Submissions.

1. My Bulgaria will not be liable in any way for any Content submitted on either the Chat Room or the Forums. You further agree that you will not:

I Submit any Content, which is harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, libelous or defamatory, encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offence or give rise to civil liabilities, or is unlawful in any other way.

II Submit any Content protected by intellectual property laws or by rights of privacy, unless you own the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents. You shall be solely liable for any damage resulting from any infringement of copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights;

III Submit any Content which contains a virus or other harmful components;

IV Engage in activity that interferes with or disrupts the use of the Web Site by other users;

V Submit any Content that encourages any illegal activities, or provides guidance or instructional activities about such illegal activities;

VI Make any false representation, including impersonation of any person or entity or misrepresentation of your affiliation with any person or entity;

VII Make use of either the Chat Room or the Forum for commercial purposes, such as advertising any products or services, reselling or publishing the information posted or transmitted.

2. My Bulgaria does not prescreen, monitor or edit the Content posted or submitted to Forums. However, My Bulgaria reserves the right to edit, limit or remove any such Content in its sole discretion. Notwithstanding, you shall remain solely responsible for any Content you submit or post.

3. My Bulgaria may establish procedures and practices relating to the use of and participation in Forums. Such procedures and practices may include limitations on the number of entries and the size of files that may be submitted, limitations on the number of participants in any chat room at any given time and the number of days messages on the Forum will be saved before deletion. My Bulgaria will not be responsible for any Content deleted by themselves or otherwise, or for your inability to submit any Content.

4. By submitting Content, via chat or any other means, to the Web Site, you grant My Bulgaria a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive worldwide right and license to use, disclose, display, exhibit, perform, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such Content or incorporate such Content into any form, medium, or technology now known or hereafter developed. Further, My Bulgaria shall be free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in such information for any purposes whatsoever including but not limited to research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of products and other items incorporating such ideas. If you are not the owner of the Content submitted, you warrant that you have received all necessary consents from the owner of such rights. You will hold My Bulgaria harmless if any such Content submitted is in violation of any such rights.

5. When participating in any Forum discussion or in the Chat Room, you may be exposed to Content that is inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. You should use extra caution with respect to any Content posted. My Bulgaria will not be responsible for the Content or accuracy of any information, and shall not be responsible for any acts taken or decisions made based on such information.

6. In consideration of My Bulgaria’s continuing efforts to enhance and improve the Web Site and its associated products and services and to respond to feedback from users, you agree to transfer such ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques to My Bulgaria without any compensation in return. You also agree to execute any and all documents that My Bulgaria may reasonably request in connection with confirming their ownership of and unlimited right to use such ideas, concepts, know-how, and techniques.

7. When submitting any comments in any form to the Web Site, whether it be via chat services or Forum you are solely responsible for the content of any comments you make. You agree that no comments submitted by you to the Web Site will:

I violate any right of any third party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, privacy, or other personal or proprietary rights;

II be libelous or contain libelous or other otherwise unlawful, abusive, or obscene material, or constitute the misappropriation of trade secrets of any third party;

III disparage the products or services of any third party; or

IV contain any personal information (other than your email address or user name).

RULES OF CONDUCT

You must have an active My Bulgaria account to post on our forums. If you are suspended or banned you will not be able to post. Be respectful of others at all times. The purpose of the forum is to provide a platform for the exchange of information. Occasionally, there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Be courteous when disagreeing with others. It is possible to disagree without being insulting.

Ranting is prohibited A rant is a post which is long-winded, redundant and filled with angry, non-constructive comments. A free exchange of information is essential to building a strong sense of community but rants are disruptive and incite flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise, clear manner and avoid going off on rambling tangents.

Personal attacks are prohibited. Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts which are designed to personally berate or insult another. Text of this nature is not beneficial to the community spirit and will not be tolerated.

Trolling is prohibited. Trolling is the word used to describe a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting the members of the forum community. Posts of this nature are disruptive and do not convey a friendly attitude.

No posting of personal information Please respect the privacy of other members and do not give out information such as phone numbers and addresses.

Private communication between the Owners, members, moderators and administrators of the forum and the forum users is not to be made public on these forums or by any other venue. You are not permitted to publicize any private correspondence (including petitions) received from any of the aforementioned.

Warnings and bans are not to be discussed on the forum. Such matters shall remain private between the Owners and the user. Questions or comments concerning warnings and bans will be conveyed through e-mail or private messaging. Likewise, discussions regarding moderator actions are not permitted on the forum. Immediate banning from the forum can result from any of the following: The posting of pornography, discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive; excessive obscene or vulgar language; posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity; providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned or to sites that My Bulgaria considers ‘competitive’ to itself.

Spamming and bumping are prohibited. Spam is considered to be repetitive posting of the same text again and again or nonsensical posts that have no substance and are often designed to annoy other forum users. Bumping posts in order to keep them near the top of the list is also prohibited. Posts of this nature are not conducive to community spirit and are unwelcome.

Use of Private Messages/Emails Inappropriate use of either service will or could result in the member being banned or in a potential member not being allowed to register at the sole discretion of My Bulgaria.
Note: New members are blocked from using the pm system until such time as their forum postings have reached a predetermined level. This is currently 3 postings.

Redundant threads will be deleted. As a courtesy to others before beginning a new thread, please look to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established. If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forum needlessly and much good information may be lost. Keep discussions about one topic to one thread only.

Impersonating another forum user, moderator, volunteer or administrator is strictly prohibited. You are expressly forbidden from impersonating anyone else on the forum even in jest.

"Newbie" bashing will not be tolerated. New forum members are encouraged to use the Forum. Regular forum users are encouraged to be helpful and courteous in their responses. All flames will be automatically deleted and the poster may be warned or permanently barred from future forum use.

You may not post advertisements Without the express permission of My Bulgaria

Avoid using profanity. Using partial masking (such as asterisks or punctuation marks) to bypass the profanity filter is prohibited and will result in the same action as if the actual word had been typed.

Post constructively. Negative feedback can be very useful, provided that it is presented in a civil, factual manner. Tell us what you don't like and why and how you feel it could be improved. Posts that are insulting and rude may be deleted, no matter how valid the ideas behind them may be.

Disputes which cannot be resolved between forum users and moderators may be arbitrated by the forum administrators. In any event the actions and decisions of the owners and Moderators of My Bulgaria shall be final. To discuss problems or concerns, please send an e-mail to: info@mybulgaria.info
