The American College is a high school (8 through 11 grade). Most of the students are Bulgarian, but there are quite a few foreign students  mainly from families of diplomats and business people. The ACS is one of the best and most competitive schools in Bulgaria. The SAT score of some of its classes have been higher than the score of the entering class of Harvard University. Classes are taught in English. The teachers are mainly Bulgarian, American and Canadian.

This is an American college type of school. It's located in the town of Blagoevgrad, in the Southwestern corner of the country. Classes are taught in English and the school is accredited through the University of Maine.
