I increasingly think Cameron did everyone else a big favour by keeping this fudge as a bilateral deal and not as a full treaty - now those countries which are lukewarm to the idea can happily shuffle their feet as the markets have already voted with theirs. We do need to get rid of this little French bloke though - he's in the ditch for the elections and nothing fires up a French voter than a good bit of Brits bashing. Frankly I'm surprised the editor of the Daily Mail has not launched a 'who won the war for you' campaign yet...
