This is just a germ of an idea at the moment:
Anyone interested in occasional church services in English in Provadia? These would be neutral, interdenominational, and would provide a good social meeting point as well.
Familiar hymns and songs, tea & coffee, a suitable video maybe, a speaker invited to give a talk? These gatherings could be developed in whatever way people want, along Christian lines.
The idea for this has come from a Bulgarian friend based in Provadia who would be happy to organise and run these gatherings. He is called Simeon Simeonov and he speaks good English. He is an active member of one of the evangelical churches in Provadia.
Feel free to reply either here on the forum or by PM. I will then pass your comments on to Simeon.

Just to remind all Brits and other English-speaking expats, in and around the Provadia area: English language church services or informal Christian-based gatherings could be starting soon!
Absolutely everyone is very welcome, even if you have never been to church before. You don't have to be a "committed Christian" or "born again" to come along!
This could be your opportunity to simply meet with other Brits, or if you wish, maybe be part of planning practical ways of showing God's love in action in your local community - anything! There are no plans or guidelines yet for how these gatherings might develop, other than that God will be at the centre.
If you know of someone who might be interested, please tell them about this!
