Hi All

We are planning on a one night stop over in late August mid week in Plovdiv and would like to stay in the old town. I have checked the hotels mentioned but am not to taken with them does anyone know any others.

Hi all

In the absence of any proper recomendations, except yours Bigbulg, cheers for that, we just googled Plovdiv hotels and chose one.

We chose a place called the Bright House hotel, it has one and two bedroom apartments. We booked a one bed apartment for two nights in late June fo just under 50 Euros per night.

I will drop a quick review in here when I get back.

I have looked at the Hebros Hotel it looks fantastic but may be a little to over the top for me not sure

The Hebros looks fabulous, if you search the net you should be able to find some reviews but it certainly looks the part.

We went for the Bright House because we thought it would be nice to have an apartment.

Stick a review up after you have been.

Hi all

Just got back from Plovdiv where, as previously mentioned, we stayed at the Bright House Hotel. This is an aparthotel and was very nice and comfortable. Big lounge area, decent sized bedroom and adequate bathroom. It is located a very short distance from the old part of town and is also near the town centre. It was around 40 Euros per night and I think it was pretty good value. Would not hesitate to recommend it though I would not say it was anything special.
