Sunny Beach is now big, still growing and packed during the summer months, so might not be the resort for some, but there are hell of a lot of people that love it. You only need to drive 5kms inland and its another world, or drive along the coast and you will still find the quite unspoilt bays. I do think that more thought needs to go into the building programme along the coast so that its not overdeveloped completed, we can only keep our fingers crossed

i just spent a few quiet days in Shkorpilovtsi with the family. Quiet and not a Disco for miles ! Reasonable prices. I notoice with apprehension a number of new apartment blocks nearing completion and wonder how mucgh longer Shkorpilovtsi will be a quiet and affordable resort !

We stayed in a nice chalet ("Bungalo") in a Holiday Village ("Vilna Swelishte") Restauyranst were reasonably priced and there was not a drunken Brit to be seen.

I saw people drinking but did not see any drunks at all ! Comptre that to Sunny Beach where one of the new attractions advertised is the "Pub Crawl" (adverrtsed as a "Bar Crawl"). Cultural imports from Modern Britain - Soccer Hooliganism and Public Drunkenness !

Scot 47 , You are so out of touch . Years ago your input , although aggressive , was generally valid . Now it justs slags off british and idolizes Bulgarians . Get in the real world .

The Britain that I grew up in respected others' rights to disagree with the mainstream. Clearly in Neddy's version of Modern Britain that is not an option.

Back to Shkorpilovtsi - the main attraction is that it is NOT like Sunny Beach !
