I saw a skeleton last summer! It was embedded into the top of a wall being restored in Veliko Tarnovo. I was walking down the hill from Tsaravets to The Church of the 40 Martyers (or the church of the 4 tomatoes as my husband likes to say...) near the stone bridge and looked over the wall to where some men were working, and there was the skeleton - didn't see an iron rod tho! I really wished I could speak Bulgarian at that time to ask some questions, but we did take a photo of it!

The same "scientist" two Dimitrov two years ago found little piece of bone on a small island near Sozopol and declare it John The Baptist`s relic. Now it can be seen in a small church in his native Sozopol. Few years before he found piece of wood and declare it piece of Noah`s Ark. The man is just trying to increase number of tourists visiting. The strange thing is this professor is running the Bulgarian History Museum

BG News media reported these "finds" as genuine relics !. Amazing the hogwash that people can believe. The rest of thje world gave up on believing in rel;ics of the "One True Cross" about 1550.
