anne diamond says give it up now and spend the money on something else, philip scofield says give it up because we couldn't win even if we had robbie williams singing. an the public have been ringing the bbc saying the same, and everybody has said the reason is because of the political voting.an ill go along with that.
There you go then....if Anne Diamond says give it up then her advice should be followed at once. Why anyone would want to waste their time watching this drivel I don't know.....but what is worse is watching it, taking it seriously and then complaining about the result...

Lol, most of them listen to English language artists, many of them sing in English, it is partly hosted in English, most of them aspire to be signed by English speaking record producers.
Also, when an idiot group like the Russian grannies (come on, it isn’t even decent traditional singing/music let alone anything else) can get so high in the poll and the UK are (invariably) at the bottom or very low down, there is obviously something wrong with the competition.
Apart from the Russians, the music/singing/staging isn’t that bad so we can’t use that as an excuse for doing so poorly so the only thing left is the voting. It has to be political. If the US were allowed to enter, they’d probably be below the UK.
Personally, I think that someone like Adele or Susan Whateverhernameis should be obliged to compete, having become famous due to their appearances on social networking sites or the popular vote on a Simon Thingy programme. Humperdink is not a suitably well known talent to demonstrate that they are all out to get us.
