Hello, We wanted to come and buy a property but have just found out the price of car hire!!!! We have been quoted between £300 & £500 for 2 weeks. This makes visiting Bulgaria very expensive. Are there cheaper Bulgarian companies? Thank you.

Based in Sofia and very friendly and helpful
Also have smaller cheaper cars. From €10.00 per day Very Happy

I have used several car hire companies in varna and by far the best , and one of the most reasonable, is a guy named Pavlin Zhelev. He will drop the car off at the airport for you, and pick it up from the same place on your departure

tell him Alan from Leicester asked you to call, and hopefully he will give you a good deal

we went for the cheap option unspecified and got a renault clio, delivered to varna airport all for 125 euros for the week.excelant service will use again.

Car Hire in Sofia.

1. I have used www.drenikov.com a basic older Ford Fiesta is 10 Euro per day.

I have used them before and have found their vehicles to be reliable and the people great to deal with.

They have new vehicles as well but being Scottish and therefore a tight git I go for the older ones.

2. I have some good expereinces with a company called www.savoyrent.com/ www.savoyrent.bg, they are reasonable rates and will deliver cars to the airport on your arrival, they are will deliver/pick up cars from the airport at any time of day or night. Hope this helps

3. I used sikon last month. i was very pleased with the service and price. i will be using them again, very helpful.

5. Have no worries!
We have just returned from Borovets. Hired a Renault Megane Scenic through Drenikov. Great car. Delivery driver spoke very good English. No problems.
Have also used Drenikov with pickup at Plovdiv airport. Also very easy but rather old car!
Rentacar Bilgaria also very good. This the website and all about them or try rent a car

6. I can reccomend the Sikon group we have used them for a couple of years now without any problems. they also speak good english.

7. 4 x 4's

I used Autojet in August this year and they were very reliable and relatively cheap compared to other rental companies. They have a decent set of 4x4 for hire as well

if you don't mind an older car try www.veda-rent.com they have a Range Rover for 24-29 Euro per day depending on length of rental. They work out of Sofia and deliver to the airport if required.

Car Hire Sunny Beach/Bourgas

1. when you do a search look out for ts travel, i have nothing but praise for them & so do many other established members. www.tstravel.net

2. You could try http://www.bulgariacarrent.com/ (but, they will charge you more than the usual delivery/ collection charge if delivery is before 06.00am)

Car Hire Veliko Turnovo

1. If you go into County Property Investments in Stefan Stambolov Street, I am sure that George or Shtelyan could sort you out with very reasonable car hire. We asked them last time, and they found a very good deal for us.
