New Build - Selected new developments in Bulgaria where construction has yet to or has only recently started
Purchasing property in Bulgaria off plan can be mainly
done one of two ways; either direct from the developer of the complex concerned
or via one of (normally) many brokers who have got there first and purchased (or
have committed to purchase) a number of properties but only with the view of
selling on the option to buy at an increased cost to you or for a commission
from the developer.
Only a year ago it was possible to purchase property off plan on the
Bulgarian Black Sea coast for less than EUR 500 per sq. metre. In early 2004 it
is becoming difficult to buy for less than EUR 1,000 per sq. metre, however the
build quality is generally better and even now some pundits are predicting
prices of up to EUR 2,000 per sq. metre for well positioned high quality
developments by the summer of 2005!
